YOU MUST HAVE THE CME LOG SUBMITTED BY 11:59 PM ON SUNDAY 11/16/2025.
We will gather, verify, and organize the CMEs submitted to us and then batch transmit to the SDMS beginning November 17, 2025. It may take up to two weeks (after our deadline 11/16/25) for you to receive your CMEs.
If you fail to fill out the documentation form by the deadline, we cannot guarantee that your CMEs will be submitted to the SDMS within their required timeframe. If that is the case you WILL NOT receive CME’s and will not be eligible for a refund.
You will receive CMEs in one of two ways:
1. NON-SDMS members (or expired SDMS members) - The SDMS will directly send you your CMEs to the email you provided on the documentation form. From there, you will have to add those manually to your ARDMS CME bank. (aka "Self-report") *make sure when filling out the documentation form that your email is one you can easily access! *
2. ACTIVE (current/paid) SDMS members - The SDMS will automatically upload the CMEs directly to your bank for you.

2024 Annual Spring Symposium
April 19-21, 2024
This 3 day program is designed for diagnostic medical sonographers, vascular sonographers, echocardiographers, students and physicians in an effort to provide quality continuing education in the rapidly advancing field of Medical Sonography. It will be held at the Crabtree Marriott located in Raleigh, NC.
The goals of the Ultrasound Symposium are to provide participants with a variety of lectures that will enable them to:
1) Describe the basic sonographic principles and procedures;
2) Describe the role of ultrasound in the evaluation of musculoskeletal injuries, arterial and venous physiology and pathology, organ transplants, adult and pediatric heart disease, fetal anomalies and pre-term labor risks, evaluation of ovarian pathology, etc.
(3) Describe the latest advances in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, and advances on obstetrical and general sonography.
